Support for Holocaust Survivors
Honoring Our Living History
There is no greater privilege than caring for those who carry the “living history” of our people within them. The Holocaust survivors in our community are a testament to resilience and strength, yet many now find themselves facing their most difficult years in isolation. We believe it is our sacred duty to ensure that their stories are not only remembered but that their present lives are filled with the comfort and honor they have rightfully earned. By standing with them, we bridge the gap between a painful past and a peaceful, supported present.
Dignity and Care in the Golden Years
No survivor should ever have to choose between medicine and a warm meal, nor should they have to face the shadows of the past alone. Our mission is to alleviate the burdens of poverty and loneliness that too often affect this precious generation. Through consistent outreach and tangible aid, we strive to transform their “golden years” into a time of security and belonging. We don’t just provide services; we provide a family and a listening ear, ensuring that every survivor knows they are cherished and never forgotten.
Our Specialized Support for Survivors:
Medical and Nutritional Aid: Providing essential medications and high-quality food parcels tailored to the specific health needs of the elderly.
Personal Companionship: Combating the epidemic of loneliness through regular home visits and social engagement to show they are valued members of our community.
Emergency Financial Assistance: Offering a safety net for unexpected expenses, from home repairs to specialized medical equipment.
Legacy of Respect: Organizing commemorative gatherings and moments of honor that celebrate their life stories and their contribution to our nation.
Our Ministries
At the heart of our work is a vibrant community of faith. We gather to worship, study the Word, and strengthen one another, creating a spiritual home in the Negev for all who seek God’s presence.
Fulfilling the promise of Aliyah, we assist those returning to Israel and those fleeing conflict. From basic necessities like heaters and blankets to guidance in a new land, we help them start their lives from scratch with dignity.
We provide a safety net for large families and single mothers who face the daily struggle of providing for their children. Through food distribution and social support, we ensure no family in our community feels abandoned.
Our mission extends to those on the fringes of society. We provide clothing, shoes, and essential supplies from our humanitarian warehouse, offering a helping hand and a path to restoration for those without a roof over their heads.
With deep respect, we care for the “living history” of our people. Many survivors face loneliness and poverty; we provide them with food, medicine, and the personal attention they deserve in their golden years.
